Driving Route

We are limiting each graduate to one vehicle for the drive-thru graduation (vehicle decorations encouraged!). Please check-in at the MBTA parking lot on Sydney Street, which is accessible by taking a left turn from Crescent Street onto Moseley Street or Carson Street.

Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted by a staff member who will ask you to check in by sharing your name. You will be asked to wait in your vehicle until a staff member informs you to proceed towards our Lower School campus. At that point, you will exit the MBTA parking lot and pull up to the left side of the curb outside of Sydney Street — we will have staff outside to help direct you.

The graduate will exit the vehicle (we ask that all other individuals remain inside the vehicle), and his/her name will be read out loud. The graduate will retrieve his/her diploma from a table next to the podium, be asked to shift his/her graduation cap tassel from right to left, and then turn to face the photographer to take a professional photo.

Once this is complete, the graduate will put his/her mask back on and re-enter the vehicle and proceed down Sydney Street to exit.

Safety Procedures

Our biggest priority is the health and safety of our graduates, their families, and our staff. Other than to retrieve a diploma, under no circumstances should graduates exit their vehicles to greet, hug, or shake hands with staff or fellow graduates.  Individuals accompanying graduates should remain in their vehicles at all times.

In addition to practicing physical distancing by maintaining 6 feet apart at all times, we ask that all participating parties, including graduates, family members, and staff wear face masks.   Graduates will be allowed to briefly remove his/her face mask to take one professional photograph, but will then need to place it back on.

Finally, if any graduates or family members are feeling even slightly under the weather or experiencing any of the following symptoms, we ask you to please stay home as a precaution:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fevers
  • Chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell
